Ralph Katz's design philosophy is to incorporate the use of mixed textures and unusual materials and colors to achieve an eclectic and viscerally satisfying detail. As the president of Timberline Designs, Inc., Katz has been in the field for over 25 years. He incorporates design, manufacture and installation into his work, which he notes is an intensely creative and personal process, similar to creating a painting or sculpture. The recipient of eight design awards from the National Kitchen and Bath Association over the past eight years, Katz's work has been featured in many trade and consumer magazines, as well as remodeling and cabinetry books.
