One-of-a-kind natural fossil stone extracted by hand from a private quarry in the heart of Wyoming’s Fossil Lake sedimentary deposits where ideal environmental conditions have preserved an abundance of fossil-rich limestone for more than 50 million years.

Custom-cut for each individual project, fossil-rich limestone slabs are honed to a smooth or relief finish, revealing the rich character of the various layers of stone. Kerogen-rich striations provide gorgeous texture highlighted with randomly shaped whorls. Over a dozen different color layers range from chocolate brown to bluish-gray to tan.
